When you stay at Lucille's B&B, you have plenty of room amidst the quiet of one of Garland's original neighborhoods. Whether your stay is for business or for sight-seeing or simply to relax while enjoying time by yourselves, you have your own garage for parking your car and access to our expertise regarding great places to eat and visit—and the easiest way to get there from here.
Six blocks north of Lucille's B&B lies the old city square with its coffeehouse, restaurants, center for the performing arts, and various shops.
Two blocks southwest of Lucille's is the city's Central Park, where you can enjoy the shade of its huge trees along the banks of Duck Creek.
Two blocks northeast of the downtown square is the Dallas Area Rapid Transit Station, which, should you prefer not to travel by car, will take you to numerous locations in Dallas and, for the more adventurous, to downtown Fort Worth.
A sofa, chairs, books, and a television (no cable) for watching movies from Amazon Fire, Filmstruck, and Lucille's small video library: plenty of room here to work, relax, while away the day.
Your breakfast, which is usually ordered from our menu the night before, will be brought to your table each morning.
Your bathroom contains a tub with shower, Towels, bathrobes, and soaps, of course, are provided.
Although your breakfast is prepared in the house's main kitchen, Lucille's provides en suite a stove, microwave, dishwasher, Keurig coffeemaker, and fridge should you wish to keep your personal items cool or prepare your own lunch or dinner.
Whether staying for one night only or a number of nights, Lucille's has at your disposal a washer and dryer en suite for any of your clothes cleaning needs. And there's a bench on the front porch and a deck with hammock in back while you're waiting.
